The Flower of the Heart

A Creative Art Workshop for Mindfulness & Inner Beauty

Discover the flower that blooms within you! What flower lives within your heart? What colours, gifts, dreams, and qualities make your soul unique?

Inspired by the spiritual wisdom and poetic imagery found in the autobiography of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, The Flower of the Heart is a unique creative and reflective art workshop. Hosted by media artist Katja-Anina Brosius the workshop invites participants on a gentle journey of self-discovery, mindfulness, and artistic expression.

Through a guided sonic meditation, participants are invited to connect with the heart centre and explore the emotions, beauty, and inner wisdom that reside within. Inspired by nature's symbolism and Saint Thérèse's vision of the "Little Way," we reflect upon the understanding that every flower in the garden of life has its own beauty, purpose, quality and place.

Just as a garden becomes beautiful through its diversity, our world is enriched by the unique gifts, talents, dreams, and qualities each person brings. During this workshop, we will discover and celebrate our personal symbolic flower—an artistic expression of our authentic selves and our inner beauty.

What You Will Experience

During this creative journey, you will:

• Enjoy a guided sonic meditation designed to connect you with your heart and inner world

• Explore the symbolism of flowers, colours, personal gifts, dreams, and inner qualities

• Create your own "Flower of the Heart" artwork using a variety of artistic materials, including painting, drawing, creative writing, and poetry

• Reflect in a warm, respectful, and open-minded atmosphere that celebrates creativity, individuality, and belonging

• Discover how simplicity, kindness, authenticity, and self-acceptance can help us blossom in everyday life

No previous artistic experience is required. This workshop welcomes both beginners and experienced creatives alike.

Suitable for adults, teenagers, and children from approximately 8 years of age when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Format

Guided sonic meditation, creative art-making, reflection, intercultural expression, and optional group sharing.

Included in Your Experience

• A rich selection of high quality artistic materials, paper, canvas, notebooks for painting on canvas, drawing on paper, creative writing, and poetry. Materials include e.g. glitter aquarelle, gold leaf and other very special materials for your unique artwork!

• A lovingly prepared workshop environment enriched with Starseed Energy Paintings and Litios Lightcrystals

• All artworks created during the workshop are yours to keep. Please bring a suitable bag or protective box to transport your new artwork(s) home safely.

• Refreshments including water, herbal and floral summer teas

Language

The workshops are usually held in German and Luxembourgish. Translations into English or French are possible.

The guided meditation will be delivered live in German.

For English-speaking participants, an English version of the guided sound art meditation will be available via a private audio link. Participants are kindly invited to bring headphones and a smartphone so they may listen to the English meditation during the workshop if desired.
