Workshop Terms & Conditions
Workshop Terms & Conditions, Liability Waiver and Media Consent
By purchasing a ticket and/or participating in the workshop, the participant acknowledges, accepts, and agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. No separate signature is required. These Terms & Conditions become binding upon completion of the ticket purchase.
1. Registration and Cancellation Policy
Workshop registrations are binding.
In the event of cancellation by the participant, the participation fee is non-refundable. Instead, the amount paid will be converted into store credit for the www.starseed.boutique online shop. The store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance and may be used for any eligible products or other workshops or services offered through the online shop.
If you cannot attend a workshop, please let us know in advance. Only cancellations made before the workshop are eligible for a store credit redeemable in our online shop. No-shows without prior cancellation are not eligible for a store credit or refund, and the workshop ticket will be forfeited.
2. Participation at Own Risk and Limitation of Liability
Participation in the workshop is entirely voluntary and at the participant's own risk. Each participant is solely responsible for their own actions, conduct, personal belongings, clothing, and equipment throughout the workshop.
The organizer and workshop instructor shall not be held liable for any stains, damage, soiling, discoloration, or other alterations to clothing and personal belongings arising during the workshop. This includes damage caused by the participant themselves, workshop materials, or other participants.
3. Photo and Video Consent
By purchasing a ticket and participating in the workshop, participants grant the organizer the right to photograph, record, use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute images and video recordings in which they may appear, without additional compensation. Such photos and video shorts may be used on instagram
Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or video recordings may inform the organizer in person upon arrival at the workshop venue. The organizer will make reasonable efforts to respect and accommodate such requests.
4. Personal Property
Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings at all times during the workshop. The organizer and workshop instructor accept no responsibility or liability for any lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property.
5. Changes, Rescheduling, or Cancellation by the Organizer
The organizer reserves the right to modify, reschedule, relocate, or cancel the workshop in the event of unforeseen circumstances, insufficient participant registrations, illness, force majeure, venue-related issues, or any other circumstances beyond the organizer's reasonable control.
If the organizer cancels the workshop, participants will be offered either:
- A full refund of the workshop fee; or
- A transfer of the booking to a future workshop date, where available.
The organizer shall not be liable for any additional costs or expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to travel expenses, accommodation costs, loss of earnings, or any other indirect or consequential losses resulting from a workshop cancellation, postponement, or change.
6. Children and Minors
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the duration of the workshop. The accompanying adult remains fully responsible for the minor participant at all times.
7. Conduct and Right to Refuse Participation
The organizer reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, inappropriate, or otherwise negatively affects the experience of other participants. No refund, credit, or compensation shall be provided in such circumstances.
8. Intellectual Property
All workshop content, demonstrations, teaching materials, templates, designs, techniques, and artistic concepts remain the intellectual property of the organizer unless otherwise stated. Participants may use and keep the artwork they create during the workshop for personal use. Reproduction, commercial use, teaching, redistribution, publication, or resale of the organizer's original workshop materials, content, designs, or methods without prior written permission is prohibited.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending a workshop hosted by media artist Katja-Anina Brosius, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Any disputes arising in connection with the workshop shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Luxembourg.
