Immersive Media Art, Meditation & Research
Starseeds • Light In Our Cells is a media art and applied research project by artist and devoted meditator Katja-Anina Brosius. The series are immersive energy artworks created to transform spaces, elevate emotional wellbeing, and reconnect people with a deeper sense of inner harmony, beauty and consciousness.
The sonic image works explore the relationship between colour, meditation, neuroaesthetics, sound and expanded states of consciousness.
Through her profound experience of different meditations, spiritual teachings and contemplative techniques, the artist immerses herself in the symbols, colours and forms of expression that resonate with the connections and shared valuesfound across different cultures and belief systems.
This radical abstraction to the essence allows a very special form of neuroaesthetics to flourish, reflecting both the macrocosm of infinity and the microcosm of body.
The series are an invitation to pause, breathe and consciously reconnect with the quiet intelligence of one’s own bodily processes. The artworks open up a space for stillness and moments of transcendence, inviting every viewer to discover their own story, presence, and possibility. Whether placed in a private home, hotel, healing clinic, yoga studio, office space or meditative environment, the artworks are created to elevate the emotional, mental and energetic atmosphere of a room.

Sonic Moving Image Artworks: A Multisensory Experience
Some Starseed artworks exist as paintings or pigment prints, while others unfold as Sonic Image works — immersive moving-image compositions that bring together visual art, music and poetic sound.
Rooted in the artist’s meditative journeys, these works translate cosmic and contemplative spaces into paintings with moving image, original sonic compositions of poetry, voice, choir, field recordings, or other experimental, musical expressions created for stereo, binaural or fixed media 3D ambisonics listening experience.
When you acquire a painting or pigment print that belongs to a Sonic Image work, the complete work is included: the physical artwork together with its moving image and original sound composition.
Most sonic image works are released as limited editions of 12 or 44. Selected works connected to an original oil painting are offered as unique 1/1 editions.
Together, image, movement and sound create an immersive space for reflection, restoration and expanded perception — an artwork to not only see, but to enter and experience.
About the Artist: Exhibitions, Research & Fellowships
Through exhibitions, workshops, meditative concerts and multisensory installations, Katja-Anina Brosius' works explore how immersive art and sound can support emotional wellbeing, contemplation, sensory regeneration and inner connection within both private and public spaces. Her multidisciplinary artistic practice moves between immersive consciousness art, spatial audio, healing environments, neuroaesthetic research and poetic media installation.
The artist's immersive media projects have been presented internationally in museums, galleries, sound domes, festivals, clinics and public institutions — including exhibitions and presentations at ZKM Karlsruhe, Konschthal Esch, IRCAM Forum at NYU New York, YUZ Museum Shanghai, Tate Britain London, Hôpital Kirchberg Luxembourg, the Embassy of Luxembourg in Berlin and various spatial audio and media art festivals throughout Europe and beyond.
Katja-Anina Brosius holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Media Arts from the Karlsruhe University of Arts & Design and was a member of the research group KIM – Artificial Intelligence & Media Philosophy.
Her projects have received grants, awards and institutional support from organizations including the Ministry of Culture Luxembourg, the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, the Fondation Indépendance by BIL, as well as the Quattropole Music Prize for immersive sound art.
